Ginger - Feb 2, 2009 - Sept 24, 2018

Ginger was a special dog. She was a chocolate Labrador retriever, and she knew what I was feeling before I did. I got her as a puppy, 6 weeks old. When I got her, I was going through a difficult time in my life. Caring for Ginger, taking her on daily walks, both healed me and helped her grow into a dog that was sweet, patient, and kind. I remember when we used to take her to the dog park. If she had a toy in her mouth, she would willingly give it up to any other dog. She never growled or showed anything but love for her fellow humans and dog friends. Not that she wasn’t a good protector. She did have a deep bark, but it was certainly more bark than bite. We went through a major home remodel a few years ago. She became a favorite of the contractors. On the invoices, they would put “Ginger’s house” instead of our last name, because everyone knew and loved her. She loved water retrieving and hunting with my husband. As good of a hunter she was, she was the perfect companion to my son. She watched over him when he was a baby and toddler. She would patiently wait until he was finished with a snack before helping herself. She was a great helper at “pre-cleaning” the dishes, taking that job very seriously. I still want to put my dishes on the floor, forgetting she is no longer here. Ginger, we miss you more than you can imagine. You were a “good girl”.

Peach - May 2, 1999 - August 15, 2008

peach2_150.jpgIn loving memory of our best friend, Peach, who we love so very much. She will be in our hearts forever.

Peach was such a loving friend and companion who had such a rambunctious and playful heart. Her favorite pass times include chasing our cat Freckles around the house, cuddling on the couch and going for walks at the doggy park. Everyone she met instantly fell in love with her. She will be always remembered in our hearts and dreams. We miss you so much! - Love, Bob, Olivia and Kids
