Meet the friendly staff at Western Veterinary Hospital!

  • Casey Fussell

    Dr. Fussell graduated from Oklahoma State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1990. He has owned and operated Western Veterinary Hospital since 1994. His special interests include surgery, dermatology and allergies in cats and dogs. He has been a Humane Society board member since 2007. He currently has a dog, 'Gabi' and 2 cats; 'Cricket' and 'Little Dude'.

  • Christina Mitchell
    Dr. Mitchell graduated from Oklahoma State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2006. She has served as a Tiny Paws Kitten Rescue board member and volunteer veterinarian since 2010. She has worked for Western Veterinary Hospital since 2000 where she started out as a technician. She has two daughters, two dogs and three cats.
  • Heather Yates
    Lead Surgical Technician LVT

    Heather is the lead surgical technician. She has worked here since September of 2014 but has been a veterinary technician since 1998. She has been a technician in 6 different states and has 2 children and 3 dogs. Fun fact: for 3 years Heather ran her own canine bed bug scent detection company

  • Missy Redford
    Veterinary Technician

    Missy graduated from OSU with a degree in Zoology. She plans to attend vet school to pursue her passions of practicing small and exotic veterinary medicine. She has worked at Western Veterinary Hospital since May of 2016 and has been volunteering with Tiny Paws Kitten Rescue since June of 2013. She has a Great Dane, 3 cats, 2 chinchillas, a lizard, poison dart frogs and a snake. Fun fact: She does local basic obedience dog training and pet sitting.

  • Katelyn Morley
    Veterinary Technician
    Katelyn is pursuing an Animal Science Degree at OSU, with plans of starting an equine practice in the future. Katelyn has 3 horses and a dog named Dallie. Fun fact: She is a farrier for clients around the Stillwater area and is a part of the OSU rodeo team competing in barrel racing.
  • Kayloni Carroll
    Veterinary Technician

    Kayloni is one of the newest members of the Western Veterinary Team. She is pursuing an Animal Science degree with a pre-veterinary influence and plans on having a mixed veterinary practice. She has been a technician for 5 years and has two dogs, Lucy and Ellie. Fun Fact: Kayloni is on the OSU shotgun sports team.

  • Ally Carpenter

    Ally is a new member of the Western Veterinary crew. She also volunteers at Tiny Paws Kitten Rescue and hopes to open her own neonatal kitten rescue in Arizona one day. Ally has 3 kitties at home; Smith, Kingston and Basil. Fun Fact: She is a self proclaimed crazy cat lady and can play the flute.

  • Kaliyah Longoria

    Kaliyah is currently pursuing a degree in business management. She plans to get her MBA and one day hopes to own her own clinic. She has worked in the veterinary field for 4 years. Fun Fact: Her favorite food is sushi and and she wants to live in New York at some point in her life!

  • Carsyn King

    Carsyn is currently attending OSU and will be graduating this semester with a bachelors degree in Animal Science. She plans to start a Veterinary Technician program in the fall and eventually become a registered Technician. Fun Fact: Carsyn is 6 foot tall!

  • Robin Hensley
    Receptionist/Technician RVT

    Robin is one of the newest members of our crew. She has been a veterinary technician for 20 years and became and RVT in 2001. Robin has 12 pets: 7 cats, 3 dogs and 2 ferrets. Fun Fact: Robins family owns antique cars, specifically Studebakers and Avantis.
